In order to improve the manufacturing technology of complex structures of aircraft to meet the design requirements of aeronautical products, CAD/CAPP/CAM integrated technique & feature-oriented models can be used to accurately define the structures of CNC machining parts & to generate technical method of aeronautical parts & CNC processing program. This technology provides a solution for the production of complicated structures of aeronautical products, program design & CNC machining technology & therefore is widely used in CNC milling of Ti alloy parts & honeycomb sturctures.

Bamtri has been conducting the research for CNC technique & CNC machine tools for plenty of years. a quantity of 3-axis & 5-axis CNC machine tools & machining centers are designed & manufactured. plenty of types of machining units are provided for the first quasi-FMS Experimental Center established by BAMTRI in China. About 50 large CNC gantry type milling machines & CNC machining centers have been cooperatively produced by BAMTRI & FOREST-LINE Company of france since 1980, which are widely used in the aviation industry & other industries.

This technology are directly used to machine complicated structures of various hard-to-machine materials for plenty of types of aircrafts.

CNC method, CNC machine, FMS(Flexible Manufacturing System) & CIMS (Computer Integrated Manufacturing System) have been developed & applied during the past several years, BAMTRI has designed & produced plenty of kinds of multi-axis CNC milling machines & machining centers, established a first FMS experimental center in China.

Since 1980, BAMTRI has purchased the production technology for CNC milling machines from FOREST-LINE CO. in spain. The cooperative products include S-240 Multiaxis Gantry Type CNC-copy Milling Machine, 3-axis & 5-axis Gantry Type CNC Milling Machine.
